The Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences at Ain Shams University achieved a remarkable accomplishment during its participation in the 26th AZEX’26 Engineering Applications Exhibition, amidst fierce competition that included more than 150 projects from 18 different universities.

The participation was under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University; Prof. Rami Maher Ghaly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Rasha Mohamed Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences; and under the supervision of Prof. Sherine Rady, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Affairs; Assistant Professor Yasmine Afifi, Head of the Student Activities Unit; Dr. Hanan Hindi, Coordinator of International Degrees and International Students at the Faculty; and Assistant Lecturer Yomna Ahmed Ibrahim Shehata from the Computer Science Department.

The faculty participated with 26 outstanding projects through its RoboTech family, in addition to the iVision graduation project by fourth-year students. The projects received widespread praise from attendees for their advanced technical level.

Following a strong competition, faculty students achieved several top rankings, as follows:

First: Robotics Track

First Place: CNC Project

Second Place: Mini Robot Project

Second: Software Engineering Track

Second Place: iVision

This achievement reflects the excellence of the faculty's students and their ability to utilize their technical and engineering skills in a competitive environment based on innovation, creativity, and teamwork, thus reinforcing the faculty's position as a leading center for supporting student excellence.
