Ain Shams University, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Interior and the concerned security agencies, foremost among them the National Security Sector, for their swift and decisive action in handling the incident that was circulated on social media regarding acts offensive to public decency in front of the perimeter wall of the Faculty of Girls in Heliopolis.
The University affirms that immediately upon monitoring the complaint circulated by some female students on social media platforms, direct and immediate contact was made with the Dean of the Faculty of Girls, who promptly reported the matter to the competent authorities and relevant security agencies. The incident was then dealt with seriousness and speed, resulting in the arrest of the first suspect within a very short time, followed by the arrest of the second suspect. This reflects the efficiency of state institutions and confirms the vigilance of the security agencies and their ability to protect society and safeguard its moral and ethical security.
Ain Shams University emphasizes that protecting its students and preserving societal values and public morals is a top priority that allows no leniency. The University stands firmly against any behaviors or practices that may violate the sanctity of educational institutions, affect the safety and security of its members, or distort the value system within Egyptian society.
