On the sidelines of its 14th International Conference, Ain Shams University and Anglia Ruskin University – Cairo signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch a Master’s Program in Healthcare Management

In a step aimed at strengthening the professional workforce in the healthcare sector and supporting health reforms in Egypt, Ain Shams University (ASU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Anglia Ruskin University – Cairo (ARU Cairo) to launch a specialized Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in Healthcare Management, on the sidelines of its 14th International Conference, “Universities as Engines of National Development… Toward Innovation and Sustainable Economic Growth.”

The agreement was signed by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Magdy El-Kady, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Universities of Canada in Egypt; and Prof. Rami Sallam, President of Anglia Ruskin University. The partnership reflects both institutions’ commitment to integrating international academic expertise with Ain Shams University’s strong local reputation in health sciences.

The collaboration aims to offer an accredited British qualification in Egypt, combining the global academic standards of Anglia Ruskin University with the practical demands of the Egyptian market. The program primarily focuses on preparing a new generation of hospital and healthcare managers capable of leading digital and administrative transformation in the healthcare sector.

This partnership represents a model for collaboration between Egyptian public universities and international branch campuses, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian graduates in regional and global labor markets.
