This research is a distinguished precedent for students of the Faculty of Archaeology, as it examines the urban environment surrounding the university in line with Ain Shams University's vision and the initiative of the Vice President to establish the "Community Observatory," which aims to provide scientific studies and applied solutions that serve the community.
It is worth noting that Barsoum Pasha Palace is registered as a Category (A) building with the National Organization for Urban Harmony and is considered an architectural icon that bears witness to 19th-century architecture. It was used as a salon for Nahas Pasha to receive his guests, in addition to its political role in the 1919 Revolution. Located in the El-Waily district, within the area surrounding the main campus of Ain Shams University, this research underscores its importance in bridging the gap between academic study and community reality.
Congratulations to the students on this commendable achievement, with best wishes for continued progress and excellence.
