Ain Shams University announces the convening of its 14th International Scientific Conference under the patronage of Prof. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University and Conference Chair; Prof. Amany Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Vice Chair and Executive President of the Conference; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Vice Chair of the Conference; and Prof. Rami Maher Sadeq Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Vice Chair of the Conference.
The conference will be held on April 21–22, 2026, at Triumph Hotel Katameya, New Cairo.
Conference Objective
The conference aims to highlight the pivotal role of universities in supporting Egypt’s national development agenda through scientific research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth. By aligning academic and research efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt Vision 2030, the conference provides a multidisciplinary platform that brings together academic leaders, researchers, international experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society representatives to collaboratively address key national challenges.
The conference will explore how applied research, innovation ecosystems, and university–industry partnerships can transform ideas into practical solutions that directly support national priorities. These include sustainable resource management, digital transformation, industrial localization, and public health. It also aims to produce actionable, evidence-based recommendations that support policymaking and reinforce the role of universities as key drivers of inclusive and sustainable growth.
