Representatives from the "Students for Egypt" initiative at Ain Shams University participated in the "Students for Egypt" summit, hosted by Al-Azhar University from February 8-11, 2026, under the slogan "Building Leaders... Building the Nation." The summit saw wide participation from students across Egyptian universities.

The Ain Shams University students' participation was under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and was coordinated and supervised administratively by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

This participation stems from Ain Shams University and the "Students for Egypt" family's commitment to actively engaging in various student forums and gatherings. This engagement contributes to honing students' skills and fostering their national awareness, and underscores the university's and "Students for Egypt's" dedication to supporting its young leaders and empowering them to play their role in serving the nation and society.

The forum's organization aligns with the state's efforts to cultivate a conscious and qualified generation of young leaders. It aims to develop national student leaders capable of assuming responsibility and to cultivate leadership and teamwork skills among university students, thereby enhancing their experience and developing their decision-making abilities and collaborative spirit.

The forum focused on strengthening the values of belonging and consolidating national identity, building the capacity of Egyptians to participate positively and effectively in the comprehensive development process, and unifying visions and exchanging experiences among the "Students for Egypt" student groups across Egyptian universities.

This participation is part of the events and activities organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector, represented by the "Students for Egypt" student group, and the Student Unions and Families Department within the General Administration for Youth Welfare.

Students Wissam Khaled Fouad and Mo'men Ahmed Abdel-Rashid, representatives of "Students for Egypt" at Ain Shams University, affirmed that participating in the forum represents a significant opportunity to unify visions and exchange ideas and successful experiences among "Students for Egypt" families across Egyptian universities. This, they emphasized, supports the role of university students in serving the community and contributing to building the new republic.
