His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a presidential decree renewing the appointment of Prof. Ali El-Anwar as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University.

Prof. El-Anwar has held numerous leadership positions, including Director of Ain Shams Specialized Hospital and Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ain Shams Medical Research Center – Masri, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams National University, and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals.

His role extends to active community and institutional engagement. He is a member of the Supreme Committee for Medical Tourism, a surgical consultant on the Supreme Committee of the Air Medical Council at the Ministry of Civil Aviation, a board member of the Early Detection of Breast Cancer Campaign, and a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education on the board of the Medical Emergency Response Fund.

His activities also include membership on the Medical Advisory Council of the General Authority for Healthcare, membership on the Supreme Medical and Appeals Committee under the Prime Minister's Office, and membership on the Supreme Committee for Medical Liability and Patient Safety.

On the academic and research front, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar has supervised more than 75 master's theses and approximately 50 doctoral dissertations in the field of surgery, reflecting his significant contribution to supporting scientific research and developing specialized medical professionals.
