The Minister of Culture honored Dr. Ahmed Magdy, Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts for winning the 2025 State Incentive Award

Prof. Ahmed Fouad Henou, Minister of Culture, honored Dr. Ahmed Magdy, a lecturer in the Department of Drama and Theatrical Criticism at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, on the occasion of his receiving the State Incentive Award in Social Sciences (Digital Culture Branch) for 2025.

This took place during the "Egyptian Culture Day" celebration held at the Cairo Opera House under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and in the presence of a number of leaders from the Supreme Council of Culture and prominent figures in thought and creativity. Dr. Magdy was among 38 creative individuals and researchers in various fields recognized for their work.

Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, praised this achievement, emphasizing that it is the fruit of a rigorous academic path that keeps pace with the transformations of the digital age and reflects the Faculty's role as an active partner in shaping cultural awareness and building Egyptian identity.

The faculty's vice deans and faculty staff also celebrated this achievement, as it embodies the university's excellence and academic integrity.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Magdy expressed his appreciation for this prestigious recognition, thanking the Ministry of Culture, his faculty administration, and the university. He emphasized that this award represents both an incentive and a new responsibility to continue research and dedication to developing the fields of digital culture and drama.
