On Tuesday, December 30, Ain Shams University, headed by Profe. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, hosted a meeting of a committee emanating from the Dentistry Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Prof. Mohamed Ayoub, Chairman of the Sector Committee, to discuss the unified guiding regulations for the PhD in Prosthodontics.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Hossam Al-Mallahi, Secretary-General of the Sector Committee and President of Badia University, and the members of the committee: Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Adel Abdel-Hakim, Vice President of Alexandria University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Fathallah, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Beni Suef University, Prof. Atef Shaker, former Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University, Prof. Ehab Mosleh, Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University, Prof. Tarek Salah, Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Moataz Khamis, Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University.

Prior to the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen received the members of the committee, during which he emphasized Ain Shams University’s keenness to support continuous cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities, and to actively participate in efforts to develop academic regulations in line with quality and accreditation requirements and to serve the higher education system.

For his part, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali emphasized the importance of these meetings in unifying visions and exchanging expertise among dental faculties at Egyptian universities. This contributes to improving the quality of the educational process, serves the best interests of students, and strengthens integration and coordination among different academic institutions.
