In a high-level ceremony reflecting the depth of academic relations and institutional integration among Egyptian universities, Cairo University honored Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, during the 20th Science Day celebration, held at the Grand Celebration Hall of Cairo University. The honor came in recognition of his distinguished academic and administrative career, and as one of Cairo University’s alumni who have assumed prominent leadership positions within Egypt’s higher education system.
The celebration was held under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University. It was attended by a distinguished gathering of ministers, governors, senior state officials, leaders of the Ministry and universities, as well as an elite group of scientists, faculty members, and prominent academic figures.
