The Prof. Mohamed Rabie Nasser Scientific Research Award is one of the most prestigious awards dedicated to honoring Egyptian and Arab scientists and researchers in higher education institutions, research centers, and various academic and scientific bodies. The award aims to support national efforts in promoting research excellence and innovation, recognizing outstanding Egyptian scientists, fostering a knowledge-driven environment, and strengthening the research ecosystem aligned with national priorities and societal impact.

Prof. Sengab is one of the foremost pioneers in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacology in Egypt and the Arab world. He has held several leadership positions at Ain Shams University, including Head of the Pharmacology Department, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. He has also served as an advisor to the Minister of Health and as a technical expert at Addis Ababa University, with extensive experience in pharmaceutical companies.
Currently, he heads the Pharmacy Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities, serves as an advisor to the Egyptian Drug Authority, and holds board memberships in the Egyptian Health Council and several pharmaceutical companies. He also leads the Drug Discovery Center at Ain Shams University. Prof. Sengab has over 280 international publications, an H-index of 41, more than 5,550 citations, and has supervised over 200 theses. He received the State Appreciation Award in 2021 and the University Appreciation Award in Medical Sciences in 2022, and he has been recognized among the top 2% of most-cited scientists worldwide for consecutive years. He is also the founder of the Drug Discovery Center, the Medicinal Plants Research Station, and the founding editor of the Archives of Pharmaceutical Sciences journal.

Prof. Osama Badary is a leading figure in pharmaceutical and medical sciences in Egypt and the Arab world. Throughout his career, he has held several leadership positions, including President of the National Organization for Drug Control and Research (NODCAR) and various leadership roles in universities and research centers. He has an extensive international presence through membership and expertise in global organizations such as the World Health Organization and the African Union.
He has significantly contributed to the development of pharmaceutical policies, regulatory quality, and clinical pharmacy, and established pioneering programs such as the Egyptian and Arab Clinical Pharmacy Fellowship Programs. Prof. Badary’s scholarly record includes 89 international publications indexed in Scopus, over 4,002 citations, and an H-index of 34, reflecting his wide scientific impact. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Prof. Mohamed Rabie Nasser Scientific Research Award 2025, the Order of Sciences and Arts, First Class 2019, the National Gold Medal and Appreciation Award 2020, the State Appreciation Award 2017, and the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award 1999. He was also ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally from 2020–2025 and has received distinguished international grants and fellowships. His contributions have been instrumental in advancing the pharmaceutical sector and building research capacities, supporting the development of Egypt’s pharmaceutical industry.
