The Wushu (Kung Fu) Championship (Male & Female Students) kicked off at Ain Shams University as part of the 53rd Martyr El-Refaai Egyptian Universities Games, hosted by the university from November 25 to 27, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University.

The championship events are being held at the indoor hall of the Sports Activity Department under the General Administration of Youth Welfare, with the participation of 263 male and female students representing 30 public, private, and national universities.

The event is held under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Students Affairs Sector, and the supervision of the Sports Activity Department at the General Administration of Youth Welfare.

The competitions witness strong participation from male and female students at Egyptian universities, in support of sports activities and in promotion of fair competition and sportsmanship among students.
