The Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University hosted the meeting of the Basic Sciences Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities.

Prior to the start of the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, welcomed the committee members to the university, expressing his pleasure at hosting the committee, which coincides with the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of the Faculty of Science.

The session was chaired by Prof. El-Sayed Abdel Azim El-Sharkawy, Chair of the Basic Sciences Sector Committee and former President of Suez University, and Prof. Fakiha Mohamed El-Tayeb Heikal, Secretary of the Committee. The meeting was attended by the distinguished members of the Basic Sciences Sector Council, including the deans of the Faculties of Science at Egyptian public and private universities, as well as the deans of the Institutes of Graduate Studies, Environmental Research, and the Institute of Statistics.
