Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, the Education and Student Affairs Sector, represented by the central “Students for Egypt” family and the Scouts Committee of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and with the participation of the Egyptian Red Crescent, launched the second edition of the "Red Week" campaign under the slogan: “Recharge Your Energy.”

The launch was attended by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Mohamed El-Okabi, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication and Media, and Supervisor of Social Solidarity Units in Universities, and Mr. Osama Saad, Coordinator of the Social Solidarity Units Project in Egyptian Universities,
in addition to outstanding participation from members of the “Students for Egypt” family and students from the Scouts and Public Service Committee of the Youth Welfare Administration.
The campaign aims to raise students’ awareness on how to cope with daily life pressures, introduce the services provided by the Social Solidarity Units at the university, and encourage a spirit of initiative and volunteerism among Ain Shams University students.

These activities come as part of the ongoing fruitful cooperation between Ain Shams University, through the Education and Student Affairs Sector, the “Students for Egypt” family, and the General Administration for Youth Welfare, and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, in implementing developmental and voluntary initiatives that promote the concept of social responsibility and support the state’s efforts toward achieving sustainable development.
The campaign was organized under the general coordination and administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.
The campaign will run for three days at the Main Campus (1) from Monday, October 20, 2025, to Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
