Ain Shams University, under the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, along with the Vice Presidents and the entire university community, including deans, faculty staff, teaching assistants, students, and staff, extends its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the historic success in halting the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, culminating yesterday in Egypt hosting the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, which resulted in the signing of a comprehensive ceasefire agreement after two years of intense conflict.

Ain Shams University emphasizes that this remarkable diplomatic achievement, under the leadership of His Excellency the President, represents a victory for the will of peace and marks a pivotal moment in the region’s history, closing the chapter of war and opening the door of hope for its peoples toward a future of justice and stability.

The University also commends Egypt’s pivotal and vital role, and the sincere efforts of His Excellency the President, which were instrumental in facilitating this historic agreement.

Furthermore, the University affirms its full support for Egypt’s ongoing initiatives, including hosting the International Conference for the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
