In its session held yesterday, September 29, the Ain Shams University Council, chaired by Professor Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abideen, honored Professor Nagwa Badr, former Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and Professor Mohamed Safi, former Dean of the Faculty of Law. The recognition was in appreciation of their dedicated efforts and valuable contributions during their tenure leading the two faculties.
The ceremony took place in the presence of the university’s vice presidents, deans, and members of the university council.
In his speech, the university president praised the honorees’ achievements, affirming that their contributions will continue to impact the university. He emphasized the pride the university takes in the meaningful roles played by its leadership and faculty members in serving the academic and research community.
Professor Nagwa Badr expressed her sincere gratitude for the honor, highlighting that the university operates through a cohesive system built on teamwork and collaboration.
Meanwhile, Professor Mohamed Safi welcomed the council’s generous recognition, noting that what distinguishes Ain Shams University is its institutional work based on the continuity of contributions. He added that each new leader leaves a distinctive mark that helps advance and prosper the university. He also acknowledged learning from his predecessors and committed to doing his utmost to support and elevate the university during his tenure.
