Signing of a Cooperation Protocol between the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, and the Egyptian Healthcare Supply Chain Association (EHSCA)

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Farid Moharam El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Business, signed a cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, and the Egyptian Healthcare Supply Chain Association (EHSCA), represented by Dr. Amr Abdel Nabi, Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors.

This comes within the framework of supporting national and local initiatives, stemming from a shared desire to raise the efficiency and transparency of supply chains in the healthcare sector in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and striving to achieve constructive and fruitful cooperation between all stakeholders in the healthcare sector. This is in line with national directives to develop the mission of higher education and keep pace with the ongoing changes in labor market requirements. It also aims to support students and graduates, enhance academic and professional competence, and prepare a new generation with a high level of competence and awareness to compete in the global and domestic labor market.

Dr. Amr Abdel Nabi, Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, praised the response he received from Prof. Farid Moharam, Dean of the Faculty, when he proposed the idea of ​​signing the protocol. He welcomed this fruitful cooperation, which will in turn support healthcare in Egypt.

The signing took place at the conclusion of the "Egypt International Health Conference and Exhibition." The conference lasted for three consecutive days, from September 18 to 20, 2025, at the Cairo International Convention Center. Many healthcare institutions and companies from Egypt and the Middle East participated in the exhibition.

The Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University participated in the third day of the conference. (200) students from the third and fourth years of the English-language credit-hour program, as well as the English-language study program at the faculty, were trained and awarded certificates accredited by the Egyptian Healthcare Supply Chain Association (EHSCA). The day included a series of general discussions and workshops that highlighted the importance and role of healthcare supply chains.
