Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Farid Moharam El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, organized a grand celebration on Wednesday, September 18, 2025, to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the university and the faculty, and the graduation of the 2025 batch (Professor Abdel Aziz Hegazy's batch) of students who received their bachelor's degrees for the academic year 2024-2025.

The celebration was held at the Ain Shams University Guest House. The ceremony was attended by many prominent figures. The ceremony was inaugurated by His Excellency Prof. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Prof. Khaled Abdel Aziz Hegazy, son of the late Prof. Abdel Aziz Hegazy, former Prime Minister of Egypt and former Dean of the Faculty of Business; Prof. Walid Samy Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone; Prof. Hafez El-Ghandour, President of the Commercial Syndicate; Prof. Hussein Essa, former President of Ain Shams University, Chairman of the Planning and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives, and member of the Coordination Council between the Central Bank's Monetary Policy and the Government's Fiscal Policy; Prof. Hassan El-Qalla, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Badr University; Prof. Amr El-Etreby, Vice President of Badr University; and former deans of faculties and faculty staff. In addition to former deans and vice deans of the faculty, faculty staff and assistant faculty members, and faculty and university staff, a large crowd of graduates' parents were also present to share in the joy of their children's graduation.
In his speech, Prof. Farid Moharam El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University, welcomed the distinguished attendees and congratulated the graduates, saying, "Today is a day of joy, pride, and honor. A day when a new page in your life's history is being written. Years ago, you were students taking your first steps at the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University, and today you stand tall, bearing the fruits of your laborers. I would like to specifically mention your distinguished class, who have proven that determination works miracles. We have witnessed in you the spirit of cooperation, creativity, and student initiatives that have raised the name of our faculty high."

The Dean of the Faculty continued his address to the students, saying, "Your martyrdom today is not the end, but the beginning of a journey of giving."
He concluded his speech with three basic pieces of advice for his graduating sons:
1- Dedication in work: Let your motto be the words of God Almighty: "Indeed, God loves the doers of good."
2- Continuous learning: Life is a school whose giving never stops.
3- Giving back: to their families, their community, and their country, which expects so much from them.
The Dean of the Faculty also honored the most prominent graduates who have achieved significant successes in their professional and academic careers.
Foremost among these was His Excellency Prof. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, in recognition of his distinguished contributions and outstanding efforts in serving the Egyptian state and developing the supply and internal trade sector, thus enhancing the progress of food security and sustainable development.
The Minister expressed his pride in this honor from his alma mater, emphasizing that his success is the fruit of the solid academic education and training he received within the halls of the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, which is a beacon for the preparation of distinguished national talent.
For his part, Prof. Hussein Issa, former President of Ain Shams University, Chairman of the Planning and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives, and member of the Coordination Council between the Central Bank's Monetary Policy and the Government's Fiscal Policy, congratulated the graduates and their families. He noted that Ain Shams University consistently strives to graduate cadres capable of leading Egypt's development process in accordance with Egypt Vision 2030. He urged them to be a source of pride for their families and their country.
Dr. Hafez El-Ghandour, Head of the Commercial Professionals Syndicate, addressed the graduates, reminding them that they now hold degrees from one of the most prestigious colleges of commerce in the Arab world. He commended them for their commitment to professional responsibility, integrity, and contribution to building the nation's economy. He assured them that the Commercial Professionals Syndicate is their second home and will always support them throughout their professional careers, working together to elevate the honor of this venerable profession.
The ceremony also honored the former deans of the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University, faculty members who received higher degrees, distinguished university and faculty staff, and top graduates from various majors and programs at the faculty. They were presented with awards and commemorative shields to encourage their academic excellence and serve as a symbol of their dedication and contribution.
Then, the diploma ceremony began. The graduates ascended the stage amid applause from the audience to receive their diplomas, the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. These moments were filled with emotion and joy, and commemorative photos were taken.
The graduates recited the professional oath before the head of the Commercial Professionals Syndicate and the attendees.
The ceremony featured a variety of artistic and entertainment activities, including an artistic performance by the college choir, a musical band, and a singing performance by the artist Nesma Mahgoub. The top graduates of the college's programs also delivered a speech expressing the gratitude of the Class of 2025 to all their professors and faculty members, promising to carry on the college's mission of building the future with ambition and hope.
It's worth noting that the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University is one of the oldest and most prominent faculties in its field. Over the years, it has graduated thousands of economists, accountants, and entrepreneurs who have contributed significantly to driving the Egyptian economy.
