Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities, the University’s Graduate Studies and Research Sector is organizing a symposium entitled “Developing the Innovative Capacities of Universities.” Dr. Hossam Othman, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Innovation and Scientific Research, will lecture.

This symposium comes within the framework of the Supreme Council of Universities’ commitment to monitoring universities’ efforts to support the implementation of the National Strategy for Sustainable Innovation. The university administration believes in the importance of training researchers practically to utilize research outputs, raise awareness of the potential and opportunities available in the fields of innovation, research projects, and marketing scientific research outputs, as well as introducing intellectual property policies and supporting startups.

The symposium will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Grand Conference Hall next to the Faculty of Pharmacy.
