Ain Shams University hosts sports courses to promote health and fair competition for university students

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote student activities, the Education and Student Sector, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, launched the 28th Sports Tournament for the University's Faculties' Scouts and the 11th Tournament for its Scouts.

The permanent scout camp and the Faculty of Agriculture's playgrounds hosted these tournaments from July 23 to 25, 2025. Students from various faculties, including Arts, Sciences, Law, Specific Education, Education, Al-Alsun, Archaeology, Nursing, Engineering, Agriculture, and Girls, participated in an enthusiastic atmosphere filled with fair competition and cooperation.

The events included a wide range of sports activities, such as football, handball, and volleyball, in addition to tug-of-war, chess competitions, and several fun scouting games.

The tournaments aim to raise awareness of the importance of exercising and their role in promoting physical health and fostering a spirit of fair competition and teamwork among students.

These events were held under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the Rovers and Public Service Department of the General Administration of Youth Care.
