The Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University has achieved a qualitative leap according to the latest report from Elsevier, one of the most prestigious publishing houses specializing in publishing medical and scientific books and periodicals. This achievement is under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Amr Shaat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and under the supervision of Prof. Hani Hassanein, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal.

The journal’s Cite Score increased to 12.2 for 2024-2025, compared to 10.8 in the previous year, contributing to the journal’s ranking moving up to the top 6% of engineering journals in the general field worldwide.

For his part, Prof. Amr Shaat, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the editorial staff of Ain Shams Engineering Journal for their distinguished and continuous efforts in supporting the journal’s progress and enhancing its scientific and research standing, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the distinguished academic and intellectual performance of the journal’s work team.
