The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Ain Shams University organized a comprehensive development convoy for Fayoum Governorate under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ansari, Governor of Fayoum, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

The convoy provided medical and pharmaceutical services to more than 1,000 beneficiaries through clinics including internal medicine, orthopedics, dermatology, pediatrics, otorhinolaryngology, and throat, chest, and blood sugar and blood pressure measurements. The convoy also provided free pharmaceutical services.

Awareness campaigns were also conducted for school students in various grade levels, addressing healthy habits to prevent disease and negative phenomena in society. Approximately 300 students attended.

200 food cartons and 200 blankets were also distributed to residents of the Basyouniya Center.

The convoy was organized under the supervision of Prof. Hala Samir Sweid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, with the administrative supervision of Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community and Environmental Affairs.

The convoy was organized by the Faculty of Medicine, University Hospitals, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Nursing, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Red Crescent Society, and the Fayoum Governorate.
