Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, began the second semester exams for the academic year 2023/2024 at the Faculty of Arts.

The organization of the second semester exams comes within the concerted efforts and diligent care of the faculty, as the exam schedules and committee locations were announced in advance and in sufficient time through the official page of the faculty, in order to facilitate the exam process for students, and the conduct of the exam process is directly supervised in a way that ensures smooth implementation and fair evaluation, while ensuring that all means are provided to support students academically and psychologically.

The organization of exams for this semester includes programs with the credit hour system (14 departments), the academic year system (two departments), programs distinguished by the credit hour system (three programs), exams for students of the old list, and open education programs, with students distributed among committees during the four exam periods, which extends from 9 am to 4.30 pm, according to the capacity of the halls, taking care to implement strict health measures to ensure the safety of students and employees, and to ensure a calm and appropriate environment for taking exams.

Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, confirmed that the exams vary in three forms, during which the questions vary between objective questions, multiple choice questions, and essay questions, with electronic correction on the same day to ensure the speedy announcement of the results.

The start of the second semester exams comes as an essential step towards the successful completion of the academic process, and this organization highlights the continued commitment to academic excellence and student support, thus maintaining the level of quality of education in line with the vision and strategies of Ain Shams University.
