Within the framework of continuous cooperation between Ain Shams University and civil society institutions, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, a delegation from Rotary Egypt, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Shahera Samir, Vice President of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Executive Director of the International Cooperation Sector at the University, Prof. Dr. Samia Abdo, Deputy Director of University Hospitals, from Rotary Mrs. Sheren Abu Hussein, president of the club, Mr. Hesham Maghrabi, Enas Sami, Mr. Amin Sabry, Mrs. Lina Bamiah, Mrs. Hoda Hamadeh and Mrs. Mageda Al-Alfi, where the Rotary provided supplies to university hospitals for prevention during the visit.

During the meeting, Prof. Mahmoud El-Matini thanked all Rotary clubs for their continuous cooperation and support to the University in many fields.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini stated that the higher management at Ain University receives a daily report on the hospitals, the number of patients, and a comprehensive inventory that is constantly updated for the stock of masks, gloves and other means of protection, especially that the university has more than one medical authority (Demerdash - Ain Shams Specialist - Field - Obour) in order to compensate for the shortage constantly , Pointing out that there are currently no problems with the availability of protection supplies as the Egyptian factories were able to cover the needs.

Mrs. Enas Samy, a former president of Rotary, explained that there is a grant of one and a half million from the Rotary Foundation that was offered to three Egyptian universities, Ain Shams and Cairo, and it was built to provide protective clothing for doctors in hospitals, including (N95 masks - boots - protective glasses - masks for surgeons - protective allowances - gloves - face shields. - Shoe cover for intensive care rooms).

She added that this grant is from Rotary clubs from Rotary Egypt, Region 2451, in addition to two regions in Switzerland and Rotary clubs from Switzerland.
