In a historic milestone that further strengthens its academic and professional leadership, the Ain Shams University Career Center announced the successful organization and management of its 2026 summer season, achieving an unprecedented breakthrough by training and qualifying more than 4,000 Ain Shams University students and graduates.

This achievement is the culmination of a comprehensive strategic vision aimed at equipping students with the skills needed to keep pace with the rapidly evolving demands of the labor market. Backed by unwavering institutional support, the initiative was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and led by Prof. Neven Assem, Executive Director of the Innovation and Training Sector, and Dr. Ola Sami, Director of the Career Center. This success reflects the concerted efforts of the University’s various sectors to provide an integrated training environment aligned with the latest international standards.

The Center’s summer program featured a uniquely diverse range of training and career development tracks, carefully designed to meet the needs of students across the University’s various faculties and institutes. The scale of this summer season is clearly reflected in the figures, with more than 150 training groups and interactive programs delivered over more than 3,000 actual training hours.

Through its core career education programs, the Center spearheaded a range of pioneering initiatives, including the “Be Ready” program, which served as a cornerstone for developing personal and employability skills and was organized at the Faculties of Business and Al-Alsun, as well as at the Career Center. Other initiatives included English conversation programs, job-readiness training, advanced programs in artificial intelligence skills and digital transformation, financial literacy programs in cooperation with the Faculty of Business, and specialized career guidance programs that provided students with direct support to help them shape their future career paths with confidence and awareness.

The success was not limited to theoretical and professional training inside classrooms but extended to a vital area of experiential learning, successfully connecting students directly with leading local and international institutions and companies. As part of its plan, the Center organized dozens of interactive activities, including field visits to the headquarters of major companies, realistic mock interviews with recruitment professionals, technical sessions, and specialized workshops delivered by a distinguished group of experts and industry leaders in technology, business administration, marketing, law, and freelancing. This direct engagement provided young people with a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand insight into real workplace culture and build a broad professional network that enhances their future employment prospects.

This remarkable achievement reflects the Ain Shams University Career Center’s continued commitment to ensuring the sustainability of development services and empowering university students with the tools and skills required in the modern era.
