As part of Ain Shams University's commitment to providing the highest quality services to General Secondary Certificate students, the University has completed all preparations to receive first-phase applicants for the 2026/2027 electronic university admissions coordination process. The initiative is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs Sector and the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs.

The University will receive students from both the Science and Arts streams through its electronic coordination computer laboratories located across several faculties, including the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences and the Faculty of Arts on the University's Abbassia campus, the Faculty of Engineering in Abdo Basha, the Faculty of Agriculture in Shubra El-Kheima, and the Faculty of Women in Heliopolis. In addition, dedicated laboratories have been equipped to serve students with disabilities at the Faculty of Arts (Vision Center) and the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences (Genidy Building), ensuring accessible and inclusive services for all applicants.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen affirmed that the University has mobilized all its human and technological resources to ensure the success of the electronic coordination process. He noted that the laboratories will remain open throughout the coordination period and have been equipped with more than 340 modern computers, while qualified support teams will be available to provide guidance, technical assistance, and respond to inquiries from students and their parents, ensuring that applicants can complete their online preference registration smoothly and accurately.

The University President also instructed the Education and Student Affairs Sector to maintain the highest level of readiness and continuously monitor operations across all coordination laboratories, while providing comprehensive logistical support and services to ensure an outstanding experience for students and their families throughout the coordination period.

These preparations follow the announcement by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the minimum admission scores for the first phase of university admissions coordination, marking the launch of the first phase of admissions to universities and institutes for the 2026/2027 academic year through the official electronic coordination website. The first phase will run from Wednesday, August 5, 2026, through Sunday, August 9, 2026, according to the following minimum scores and student numbers:
