Driven by Ain Shams University's commitment to supporting and promoting scientific excellence, and encouraging faculty staff and researchers to actively participate in prestigious international research awards, and under the patronage of Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, the university announces, based on a recommendation from the Research and Innovation Sector of Misr El Kheir Foundation, the opening of nominations for the 2026 Dotra Award for Agricultural Innovation.

This award is a result of a strategic partnership between Misr El Kheir Foundation and Basateen Foundation for Community Development. It is a peer-reviewed scientific award that aims to support innovative and practically applicable projects and research that utilize modern technology to enhance productivity and achieve sustainability in the agricultural sector.

Award Objectives:

• Supporting smart and innovative solutions to address the challenges facing the agricultural sector.

• Enhancing agricultural production efficiency and improving crop quality.

• Managing resources and developing sustainable mechanisms for their preservation.

• Empowering farmers to utilize modern technologies in line with Egypt's Vision 2030.

Award Focus for 2026:

The current award cycle focuses on "Utilizing Modern Technologies to Maximize the Benefit from Agricultural Resources." It should be noted that this focus does not include livestock production.

Award Value:

The total value of the prizes allocated to the winners is EGP 400,000.
