Ain Shams University, in collaboration with the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin), is organizing a workshop to enhance opportunities for obtaining Erasmus+ grants
In line with Ain Shams University's strategy to maximize the benefits of available international opportunities, promote a culture of internationalization and institutional excellence, expand the horizons of international academic cooperation, and support opportunities for faculty staff, researchers, and students to benefit from academic exchange programs and international grants, the Grants and Projects Department of the International Relations Sector is organizing a workshop entitled:
"Your Road to TU Berlin," "How to Find a Host Professor and Secure an Erasmus+ Grant." The workshop , held under the auspices of Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and in cooperation with the Grants and Projects Department of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, will take place on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the Networks and Information Technology Center, Ain Shams University, with the participation of faculty staff, teaching assistants, and administrative staff.
The workshop aims to introduce participants to effective communication mechanisms with faculty staff at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin), the steps to obtain hosting approval, and to review best practices that contribute to enhancing the chances of winning Erasmus+ grants, which supports academic mobility, promotes international research cooperation, and raises the university’s global competitiveness.
This event comes within the framework of the distinguished academic partnership between Ain Shams University and the Technical University of Berlin, which provides opportunities for the exchange of graduate students, faculty staff, and employees through the Erasmus+ program. This contributes to the transfer of expertise, the exchange of knowledge, and supports the university's goals of achieving institutional excellence and enhancing the quality of scientific research.
