In an exceptional step to empower youth and promote financial inclusion, students from the Faculty of Business managed a branch of Banque Misr at the conclusion of the Banking System Model (EBSM) program

In a vivid embodiment of the Egyptian state's vision for youth empowerment, and with confident steps that combine academic rigor with professional expertise, one of the most important training and practical events in the university and banking sectors concluded on Saturday, May 16, 2026. This event represents a qualitative leap in the philosophy of university education linked to the job market.

In an unconventional scene reflecting the extent of strategic cooperation between major institutions, the Bank of Egypt branch at Ain Shams University witnessed a rigorous practical application of the "Egyptian Banking System Model (EBSM)" for students in the Banking Science program.

This event was held under the auspices of Prof. Farid Moharram, Dean of the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University; Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Haq, Founder and Head of the Egyptian Banking System Model at the Egyptian Banking Institute; and Prof. Hind Fahmy, Head of the Financial Inclusion and Real Estate Finance Sector at Banque Misr.

The "How to Become a Bank Employee" simulation was conducted under the coordination of Dr. Hisham Abdel-Aziz, Academic Coordinator for Interdisciplinary Programs at the Faculty of Business.

The event was not merely a routine training exercise, but rather a dynamic role reversal scenario. Students assumed the roles of bank employees within the branch, fully carrying out their responsibilities, while professional bank employees played the role of customers.

The brilliance of this simulation lies in its ability to place students at the heart of everyday banking pressures, equipping them with practical skills for direct interaction and training them in how to present banking products professionally to young people.

The goal here goes beyond individual training, aiming to create a generation of "financial literacy ambassadors" capable of spreading a culture of financial inclusion and banking transactions across all segments of society, which aligns perfectly with the state's modern economic directions.

As a culmination of this exceptional effort and the resounding success of the event, it was decided to award participating students an "accredited certificate" of attendance and participation. This certificate will serve as a documented passport reflecting their immediate readiness to enter the banking job market. This underscores that Ain Shams University, through its strong partnerships, not only graduate students but also cultivates future leaders and bankers.
