A new beginning for volunteer work… Be part of a team making an impact… Ain Shams University student interviews to join the Community Observatory Portal and Egyptian Red Crescent team

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Rami Maher, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, personal interviews will commence for students applying to join the volunteer team at the Community Observatory Portal. This initiative is part of the fruitful cooperation between the University's Community Observatory and the Egyptian Red Crescent.

This step underscores the University's commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism among students and opening new avenues for their active participation in community and humanitarian initiatives, thus contributing to building a generation that is more aware and responsible towards societal issues.

The program aims to prepare student cadres capable of contributing to community activities and humanitarian services, in addition to supporting studies and research activities undertaken by the Community Observatory Portal to monitor and analyze issues affecting the university community and Egyptian society in general.

Students who registered through the volunteer website should attend personal interviews between Tuesday, April 28th and Thursday, April 30th, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the I Hub on campus, according to the following schedule:

Day 1: April 28

Faculties: Arts, Science, Agriculture, Law, Al-Alsun, Dentistry.

Day 2: April 29

Faculties: Business, Mass Communication, Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer and Information Sciences.

Day 3: April 30

Faculties: Archaeology, Nursing, Girls, Education, Veterinary Medicine, Computer and Information, Specific Education.
