Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Rami Maher Sadek, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Yassin El Shazly, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim El Shafei, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty of Law, the Ain Shams University Faculty of Law team achieved a distinguished accomplishment in the regional qualifiers for the Middle East region of the Oxford University Price Media Law Moot Court Competition, as the team qualified to participate in the international finals to be held in Oxford in mid-April 2026.

The faculty team secured second place in the Middle East region, winning the award for Best Written Memorandum at the regional qualifiers, as well as the Best Speaker award in the final round.
It is worth noting that Ain Shams University is the only university in the Middle East to have consistently qualified for the international finals of the PRICE competition since Middle Eastern universities began participating in 2013, an achievement that reflects the university's ongoing academic excellence and practical training.

The Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, in partnership with Oxford University, organized the regional qualifiers for the Middle East from February 1st to 4th, under the supervision of the competition's Middle East coordinator, Dr. Ahmed Fathi Khalifa, with the participation of ten teams from several countries in the region.
Approximately thirty judges from Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Brazil, and the United Kingdom participated in judging the competition.
Organizing and participating in these events comes within the framework of the faculty administration's vision aimed at developing the educational process, linking theoretical study with practical application, and developing students' skills to enable them to compete and excel in the local labor market.
