During the celebration, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, expressed his pride in the contributions made by the university’s scholars to this unique national project. Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen explained that the Grand Egyptian Museum represents a living model of the university’s national role, noting that faculty staff, particularly from the Faculty of Engineering, made precise scientific and engineering contributions. These included construction works and the transportation of massive antiquities, most notably the statue of Ramses II, in a scientific epic that combined technical precision with the grandeur of civilization and will remain etched in history for generations.
