The President of Ain Shams University and his Vice President for Education and Student Affairs participated with 1,000 Egyptian and international students from university dormitories in the Ismailia Entertainment Festival

In the presence of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the "First Entertainment Festival" for Egyptian and international students residing in university dormitories, as well as students with special needs, was launched on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Golden Jewel Hotel in Ismailia Governorate, amidst an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and joy.

The event saw the participation of over 1,000 male and female students residing in university dormitories. The Education and Student Affairs sector is committed to fostering the integration of Egyptian and international students from various nationalities in social and cultural activities that encourage positive interaction and support the development of a cohesive and engaged student community.

During his meeting with the students, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen affirmed the university's continued commitment to providing all forms of support and care for its students. He emphasized the university's dedication to providing a balanced educational and recreational environment that enables them to develop their skills and broaden their horizons.

In his first engagement with students following his appointment as Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs by presidential decree, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali participated with Egyptian and international students residing in university dormitories, as well as students with disabilities, in the activities of the first Ain Shams University Recreational Festival for dormitory students for the current academic year, held at the Golden Jewel Hotel in Ismailia.

In his address, the Vice President of the University expressed his delight at being among the students of the university dormitories, marking his first public appearance since his appointment by presidential decree.

He also commended the excellent organization of the Education and Student Affairs sector and the significant efforts of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs. He further thanked Colonel Tamer Hamdi, Director of the Golden Jewel Hotel in Ismailia Governorate, for his warm hospitality and generous welcome.

His Excellency affirmed that his door is open to all students, and that the education and student affairs sector will witness new developments and initiatives in the coming period that will benefit students and support the educational process and various activities.

It is worth noting that approximately 1,000 male and female students from the university's dormitories, both Egyptian and international, from various faculties, are participating in the festival. This unique trip includes recreational, cultural, and interactive activities designed to enhance communication and foster a sense of belonging among the students.

This participation underscores the university's commitment to supporting its students and providing them with exceptional student experiences within the university dormitories.
