In a comprehensive student experience combining leadership, training, and teamwork, the Students for Egypt family – Education and Student Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University launched the “Students for Egypt Summit” on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Ismailia. The summit, which brought together approximately 300 outstanding students from various faculties across the university, continued until Wednesday, August 26, 2026. This initiative aligns with the university's strategy to invest in young talent, cultivate well-rounded student personalities, and prepare leaders capable of assuming responsibility and actively participating in university and community life.

The summit comes under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and with the coordination and administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza (Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Sector), and within the framework of the student activities plan implemented by the Education and Student Sector through the Students for Egypt family, led by Dr. Samar Ragab, General Leader of the Students for Egypt family, and the team of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, with the participation of the leaders of the Students for Egypt family in the university’s faculties.

The “Students for Egypt Summit” represents an advanced stage within the student leadership development and training program adopted by Ain Shams University. Participants were selected from among outstanding male and female students who had previously participated in the university’s full-time leadership training camps held at the student dormitories from July 13 to August 13, 2026, as well as the one-day leadership training camps conducted across 18 of the university’s faculties.

The summit is the culmination of a gradual training path designed to move students from acquiring knowledge and skills to practical application, practice, and responsibility. This contributes to developing qualified student leaders equipped with leadership and organizational skills, capable of effectively managing and implementing various events, initiatives, and activities both within and outside the university.

The summit will be held on a full-board basis at the Golden Jewel Resort in Ismailia, offering a comprehensive experience combining training, development, practical application, interactive activities, and recreation. Full hotel accommodation and open buffet meals will be provided for all students, ensuring a suitable and stimulating environment throughout the summit.

The summit's training program includes several specialized modules aimed at developing students' skills and preparing them to play more effective roles within the student activities system. These modules cover topics such as the Student for Egypt family's operational framework and internal activities, simulation models, student unions, building self-confidence, etiquette and interpersonal skills, planning, organization, event management, team formation, and determining the appropriate number of participants for each event based on its nature and objectives.

The program also focuses on developing students' skills in handling various situations, decision-making, effective communication, working under pressure, distributing roles and responsibilities, and working within integrated teams. This enhances their ability to manage events efficiently and qualifies them to participate more effectively in university activities and various initiatives.

As part of the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University's commitment to diversifying training pathways and discovering student talents and abilities, the family has recently worked on developing the work system of its artistic committee. This was achieved by employing a number of trainers and specialists, led by director Mohsen Rizk, in various artistic fields. The committee selected artistically outstanding students and worked to refine their abilities and develop their skills through a number of training workshops and specialized artistic rehearsals on the beaches of Golden Jewel in Ismailia.

This is a prelude to forming specialized artistic groups affiliated with the Students for Egypt family, comprising a select group of outstanding students in various artistic fields. This will enable them to participate and represent the family and the university in national, university, and major events, contributing to the use of art as a tool for building student character, strengthening belonging, and showcasing young talents in a manner befitting the name and standing of Ain Shams University.

The training component is accompanied by a comprehensive recreational and interactive program that achieves a balance between training and enjoyment, contributing to strengthening teamwork and communication among students. Activities include yacht trips, beach activities, and access to the hotel's swimming pools and recreational facilities, in addition to a number of group and interactive activities. Furthermore, several cultural and recreational competitions will be organized, and prizes will be awarded to outstanding students.

This experience contributes to creating a genuine space for networking and exchanging expertise among outstanding students from various university faculties. It strengthens bonds between them and reinforces the values ​​of teamwork, cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and institutional belonging to the university. This makes the summit an experience that transcends the traditional framework of training camps, fostering a more cohesive, aware, and impactful student community.

Through organizing the "Students for Egypt Summit," Ain Shams University affirms that investing in youth is a cornerstone of building the future. The ceremony will be attended by Pro. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen (President of Ain Shams University) and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali (Vice President for Education and Student Affairs). This event will culminate the summit's activities, which included diverse training programs and interactive activities.
