Ain Shams University administration confirms that student Basma Sebaei Hussein Hassan, a first-year student with a resit period in the Child Education Department at the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, who is required to repeat the course for the 2024/2025 academic year, suffered a fall from the first-floor stairs of the college building after suddenly fainting while sitting with her classmates. The incident occurred after her classmates had finished taking their exams, noting that the student is not registered for the course.

The student was quickly transferred to the university hospitals to receive the necessary medical care.

The initial medical report issued by the Emergency Hospital at Ain Shams University Hospitals regarding the patient confirmed that she was admitted at 12:30 p.m. X-rays and necessary tests were performed, revealing no brain hemorrhage or internal organ hemorrhage, and no bone fractures. The patient was admitted to Demerdash Hospital for surgery under observation only.
