The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (ASU-IHUB) at Ain Shams University is organizing a workshop on “Intellectual Property and Access to Medicine”, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Neveen Assem, Executive Director of the Innovation and Training Sector. The workshop is supervised and delivered by Dr. Mohamed Magdy, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and will be held on Monday and Tuesday, the 17th and 18th of this month, at 9:00 a.m. at the Center’s headquarters.

This event comes as part of the University’s pioneering role in supporting the innovation ecosystem and applied scientific research, and its commitment to raising awareness about the importance of intellectual property protection and its role in ensuring access to medicine and equitable availability of treatments, in line with the National Intellectual Property Strategy and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
