She reviewed the activities of the parties’ youth coordination, its composition and its role in encouraging participation in the elections.

She demanded young people to take responsibility and study the electoral programs and the ability of the candidates to fulfill electoral promises, and not to be led by calls not to run in the elections on the pretext that the vote will not matter. She explained that youth participation in the elections has a great significance and reflection on Egypt’s image before the world, as the extent of youth turnout in the elections is analyzed.

Mr. Tarek Al-Khouly spoke, recalling when he was a university student attending cultural lectures and seminars and how they influenced him and gained him experiences and information.

He pointed out that Egypt has gone through five presidential elections throughout its history, adding that the current elections have the largest number of candidates, which amounts to four candidates. While the percentage of youth is 60% of society, he stressed that youth are the current bet, which represents an essential part of the competition between Arab and international powers to change their identity, as well as a message to all parties that Egypt’s youth are fine and have a high capacity for awareness.

This confirms the strength of the Egyptian internal front, regardless of the candidate chosen by the representative.

He also added that in the past, it was said that young people do not have the opportunity to appear and that the horizon is not open for social presence, but now we are before you as an example of the possibility of reaching the maximum extent, provided that you are positive and have a state of insistence on learning, excellence, training, and keenness on actual positive participation.

Mr. Mahmoud Badr, a member of the House of Representatives, also called for positive participation in the elections, reviewing the presidential election period in 2014 and the extent of chaos and terrorism existing in all governorates, as Egypt had one of the highest rates of road accidents in the world.

Adding that participation in the elections is necessary to prove that the Egyptian people are aware and want to keep the Egyptian state together.
