The activities of the first day of the initiative for the free examination of diabetes patients at Ain Shams University Specialized Hospital in El-Obour

The first day of the initiative launched by Prof. Dr. Haitham Ezzat, Director General of Ain Shams University Specialized Hospital, to cross for free examinations for patients with diabetes and hypertension, witnessed a huge turnout from the public, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, and Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Anwar, Executive Director of University Hospitals.

The events began with registering patients, making a medical evaluation for them, and providing all medical services for free in terms of measuring blood pressure, random sugar, weight and height. This was followed by an examination at the internal medicine consultant and then a therapeutic nutrition specialist to provide nutritional programs that the patient needs according to his health condition, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

Prof. Dr. Haitham Ezzat confirmed that such initiatives come within the framework of the societal role of Ain Shams University Specialized Hospital in El-Obour as one of the main pillars and pillars of the medical services system in the new cities and stressed that the hospital took all preventive measures and measures to preserve the safety of the gentlemen who hesitated on the initiative, and the attendees expressed their happiness. He added that the initiative will continue until tomorrow, Thursday, March 31, 2022, in order to provide free services for the initiative to the largest number of the public.
