In a new achievement reflecting the rapid progress Ain Shams University is making in developing its medical system, the General Authority for Accreditation and Healthcare Regulation, headed by Dr. Ahmed Taha, announced the granting of full accreditation to the Ain Shams University Specialized Hospital in Obour for a period of three years, in accordance with the internationally recognized GAHAR standards of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).
This accreditation comes as a culmination of the hospital's success in meeting all quality requirements and accreditation standards, confirming its commitment to implementing the latest global practices in providing healthcare services and enhancing patient safety according to the highest professional standards.

In this context, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, affirmed that this achievement represents a significant milestone in the development of medical services at the university and reflects a clear strategic vision based on adopting international quality standards as a key pillar of institutional excellence.
He pointed out that the hospital's attainment of this international accreditation enhances Ain Shams University's standing as a leading academic and medical institution, capable of providing comprehensive and safe healthcare services according to the latest global standards, thus contributing to the support of the healthcare system in Egypt.
