Planting Fruit Trees on Ain Shams University's Main Campus
As part of Ain Shams University's participation in the presidential initiative "100 Million Trees," Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, witnessed the planting of fruit trees on the main campus. The event was attended by Prof. Walaa Abdel-Ghani, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. Amal Moussa, Dean of the Faculty of Science. The Faculty of Agriculture donated 55 fruit trees, which were planted on the main campus.
This step comes within a national plan aimed at addressing climate change, reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, and promoting environmental sustainability through expanding afforestation in various locations.
