As part of Ain Shams University’s commitment to supporting scientific research and encouraging excellence among researchers, and under the patronage of Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, the university invites its faculty staff and researchers who meet the nomination criteria to apply for the 44th edition of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers for the year 2026, announced by the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, across a number of distinguished scientific fields.

The Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers is the first Arab award dedicated to scientific research. It aims to support scientific research in the Arab world and highlight the achievements of Arab researchers, contributing to inspiring a new generation of researchers, experts, and specialists across various scientific fields.

Application Deadline

March 31, 2026

Faculty staff and researchers who meet the award requirements are encouraged to apply and complete the required documents before the final submission deadline.

In case of applying through the university, please provide the Awards Office with a nomination letter from the faculty, including the candidate’s information and contact details, a recent status statement, justification for nomination, and confirmation of submission on the award’s official website.

Please note that the deadline for receiving nominations from faculties is March 15, 2026, to complete the necessary procedures before the final deadline for submission to the award.
