A delegation of students from the “For Egypt” student family at Ain Shams University participated in the workshop organized by the Police Academy under the title “Internal Destabilization Schemes and Strategies to Counter Them”, held at the Police Research Center from February 8 to 12, 2026.
The participation of Ain Shams University students came under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with administrative coordination and supervision by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.

This participation reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Interior and Ain Shams University to strengthening bridges of trust and constructive cooperation with various state institutions, as well as enhancing youth awareness of national issues and contemporary challenges.
The workshop featured a comprehensive overview of the main methods used to target states from within, along with an explanation of the mechanisms employed by hostile forces to spread instability and influence societal cohesion. It also addressed real-life case studies from other countries and how they dealt with such threats.
The sessions further explored ways to enhance youth awareness and highlighted their vital role in protecting society from rumors and fourth- and fifth-generation warfare, in addition to reviewing the measures adopted by the state to promote security and stability.

The workshop included an open dialogue between students, police leaders, and experts. During the discussion, students raised questions about mechanisms for confronting internal schemes, preserving social cohesion, countering misinformation, and promoting a culture of belonging. The dialogue also shed light on the state’s efforts to address attempts to mislead public opinion, as well as the role of educational institutions in building youth awareness and safeguarding them against such challenges.
This participation falls within the framework of the activities organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector, represented by the “For Egypt” student family and the Department of Student Families and Unions at the General Administration of Youth Welfare.
The students expressed their sincere appreciation to Ain Shams University and the “For Egypt” student family for providing them with the opportunity to participate in such meaningful activities. They also extended their gratitude to the Police Academy for organizing the distinguished workshop, noting that its content provided them with a clearer understanding of the challenges facing the state and reinforced their awareness of the importance of youth engagement in safeguarding national security and supporting state institutions.
Academy officials, in turn, praised the commitment and engagement of Ain Shams University students, affirming that they are exemplary ambassadors of their university.
