Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, issued a decree appointing Prof. Hossam Reda El Sayed Abdel Hamid, Professor in the Department of Commercial and Maritime Law at the Faculty of Law, as Head of the Department Council, effective February 9, 2026, for a term of one year.

Also, issued a decree appointing Prof. Mohamed Rabie Anwar Fath El Bab, Professor in the Department of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law, as Head of the Department Council, effective February 9, 2026, for a term of one year.

Furthermore, issued a decree appointing Prof. Ehab Yosr Anwar Ali, Professor in the Department of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law, as Head of the Department Council, effective February 9, 2026, until December 31, 2026, the date on which he reaches the legal retirement age.

Dr. Mahmoud Lotfy Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Assistant Professor in the Department of Private International Law, will assume the duties of Head of the Department Council effective February 9, 2026, for a period of one year.

Dr. Hussein Mahrous Abdel Gawad, Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic Law, at the Faculty of Law, will assume the duties of Head of the Department Council effective February 9, 2026, for a period of one year.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Aal Abdel Aal Shaaban, Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Economy, at the Faculty of Law, will assume the duties of Head of the Department Council effective February 9, 2026, for a period of one year.
