As part of efforts to enhance national awareness and promote a culture of integrity and transparency among university youth, the “Students for Egypt” family at Ain Shams University organized a field visit for a student delegation to the Administrative Control Authority pavilion within the activities of the 57th Cairo International Book Fair, held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.

The visit was conducted under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the administrative supervision and coordination of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.

In line with the Education and Student Affairs Sector’s commitment to supporting purposeful student activities that contribute to building youth awareness of national issues and enhancing their positive participation in comprehensive development efforts, the visit aimed to familiarize students with the vital role of the Administrative Control Authority in supporting the state’s efforts to combat corruption and entrench the principles of good governance.

During the visit, students reviewed the Authority’s latest publications and awareness materials presented to the public, which contribute to raising societal awareness of the importance of safeguarding public funds and strengthening the values of belonging and national responsibility.

Throughout the tour, students listened to a detailed briefing by representatives of the Authority on its various mandates and mechanisms of work, in addition to learning about the national initiatives it implements in cooperation with state institutions, within the framework of achieving sustainable development and building a better future for coming generations.

The students expressed their appreciation for the visit, affirming the importance of such activities in fostering a spirit of positive participation in nation-building.
