In a new achievement added to Ain Shams University's record of excellence, the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University won third place in the Egypt Government Excellence Award in the Faculties category (Institutional Excellence). This occurred during the fourth edition of the award, held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and in the presence of the Prime Minister.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, underscoring the university administration’s institutional support for development and quality initiatives.

Prof. Amr Shaat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, accepted the award, recognizing the integrated efforts of the faculty’s education and administration sectors to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and innovation.

The Egypt Government Excellence Award is one of the most prominent national awards aimed at establishing a culture of institutional excellence through rigorous criteria encompassing effective leadership, strategic planning, resource management, digital transformation, and the quality of educational, research, and community services.

This achievement reflects the insightful leadership approach adopted by Ain Shams University, under the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, who is committed to supporting excellence, empowering faculties to enhance their performance, and strengthening the university’s role as a vital national institution in implementing the state’s vision for sustainable development.
