Nominations for the Fifth Edition of the ICESCO–Hamdan Prize for the Development of Educational Facilities in the Islamic World 2025–2026 are open now
The Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has announced the opening of nominations for the fifth edition of the ICESCO–Hamdan Prize for the Development of Educational Facilities in the Islamic World 2025–2026.
The prize aims to promote volunteer initiatives and philanthropic contributions in the education sector, while supporting the development of educational infrastructure and facilities across the Islamic world.
- Total prize value: USD 300,000
- Number of winners: Three
- Eligible applicants: Charitable organizations, volunteer institutions, donors, and benefactors
- Prize for each winner: USD 100,000
The award amount should be invested in developing the winning project or launching new educational initiatives that contribute to strengthening educational facilities.
Each winner will also receive a commemorative shield and a certificate of recognition.
Application Process
Nominations can be submitted through one of two methods:

After an initial screening process, applications meeting the eligibility criteria will be evaluated by an international judging committee, which will assess submissions and select the winners. The award ceremony will be organized by the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences in collaboration with ICESCO.
