As part of Ain Shams University's ongoing efforts to enhance its international standing and expand avenues of cooperation with global educational institutions, Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, received Mr. Frederico Stand, Regional Director of the EU Business School Spain, a branch of the Swiss university that operates multiple campuses across various European countries.
The meeting aimed to explore avenues of scientific and research cooperation between the two parties and to strengthen academic partnerships in the fields of research, student exchange, and postgraduate studies.

During the discussions, the two sides explored opportunities for joint research projects, the establishment of joint and dual degree programs in partnership with Ain Shams University, as well as the possibility of offering students access to shared online programs. These initiatives would allow students to gain international educational experiences without the need to travel abroad, in alignment with the university's direction toward blended learning and global engagement.
The meeting also discussed the launch of new academic programs through collaborative efforts, with the aim of providing high-quality educational opportunities and further enhancing Ain Shams University's position on the international academic and research landscape.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Amany Osama Kamel emphasized that the university is moving steadily toward expanding international cooperation with educational institutions worldwide, which contributes to the development of the educational and research process in line with the latest global standards.
She added that Ain Shams University aspires to become a distinguished regional hub for education, scientific research, and innovation, through active partnerships that allow students and researchers to exchange expertise with international universities, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of its graduates in both local and global job markets.
The meeting was also attended by Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector, and Dr. Kamal Obeid, Director of the International Cooperation Department at Ain Shams University.
It is worth noting that EU Business School is an international university with branches in several European countries, including Barcelona (Spain), its main campus, Munich (Germany), and Geneva and Montreux (Switzerland).
