Ain Shams University Welcomes Visitors to the "Made in Egypt" Exhibition"

Coinciding with the celebrations of the glorious October Victory, and in line with Ain Shams University’s societal role in supporting national industries, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector has launched the "Made in Egypt" Exhibition, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

         
   
         

The exhibition is held under the supervision of Major General Hossam El Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development, and officially opened its doors today to university students. It will continue welcoming visitors until October 21.

         
   
         

In this context, Prof. Ghada Farouk emphasized the university’s commitment to regularly organizing exhibitions of Egyptian-made products, with the goal of creating new and youth-oriented markets for high-quality local products that can compete with international brands.

         
   
         

She highlighted the Egyptian government’s direction toward supporting local industries and boosting exports, which contributes to reducing imports and strengthening the competitiveness of Egyptian products in global markets.

According to Prof. Ghada Farouk, the university plays a vital role in this effort by supporting national industries and stimulating economic growth, which ultimately leads to improved living standards for citizens.

She also praised the diverse range of products showcased in the exhibition, which features around 30 Egyptian companies from various sectors, including cosmetics, food industries, chemical products, and more.
