Ain Shams University carried out a successful evacuation drill in the administrative buildings under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, and in cooperation with the Civil Defense Department, the Occupational Safety and Health Department, and the General Administration of University Security.

This drill comes as part of the university’s commitment to conducting regular evacuation exercises across various faculties and administrative buildings, with the aim of enhancing staff readiness, applying safety procedures in emergency situations, raising awareness of rapid response mechanisms, and training on the use of firefighting equipment, while ensuring that all safety requirements are met in the facilities.

The drill witnessed wide participation from the university’s administrative staff and employees, where the evacuation process was carried out in accordance with the highest safety standards, ensuring a smooth exit of personnel without pushing or overcrowding. This contributed to the efficient, quick, and safe execution of the evacuation plan in just seven minutes.
