The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University received a delegation from the National Korean Language Institute, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun and Head of the Korean Language Department; and in the presence of Prof. Ashraf Mohamed Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Hala Sayed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
The delegation included Dr. Lee Seung-Young and Dr. Jang Mi-Kyung, who are responsible for disseminating the K-Teacher Program for 2025. The program aims to train Korean language teachers around the world, as well as prepare specialists who wish to become teachers of Korean language and literature in the future.

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, stated that hosting the delegation from the National Institute of Korean Language reflects the academic standing and leadership of the Faculty's Korean Language Department. She noted the Faculty's commitment to building bridges of academic and research cooperation, contributing to the preparation of distinguished graduates capable of strengthening cultural and scientific relations between Egypt and South Korea.
She also expressed her happiness with this visit, urging the department's students to take full advantage of the training programs and joint academic opportunities offered by such meetings. She emphasized that their professional future begins with capitalizing on these opportunities to become ambassadors of both Egyptian and Korean cultures. She concluded her speech by saying, "What we offer today is an investment in the generations of tomorrow, and we are confident that our students will carry the department's message with pride and responsibility."

The delegation expressed their appreciation for Ain Shams University, the Faculty of Languages, and its long history. They commended the successes achieved by the Korean Language Department, the first and oldest Korean language department in Africa and the Middle East. They affirmed their desire to enhance fruitful cooperation to help the department continue to graduate distinguished cadres who contribute to strengthening relations between Egypt and South Korea.
The delegation also met with professors, students, and graduates of the department. An introductory seminar was held to highlight the training programs offered by the institute and ways to benefit from them. The event concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to attendees.
